Cooking For Artists

“The act is as ancient and fundamental to our nature as art itself” -Gavin Brown writes in Mina Stone’s 2015 book, Cooking For Artists

A farm-to-table style lunch is included in our workshop fee for a long list of obvious yet fabulous reasons.

For one, it’s delicious, wholesome, locally sourced food from this bounty of a place we call home and a unique and intrinsic part of the Willow Pond SLO experience.

Two, we hire incredible local chefs who cook with nature, using their talents to bring us together. Three, we get to enjoy a meal, take a break, feel the outdoors, and make friends over exceptional and nourishing food. We believe these three things elevate and complete the creative experience. Dietary restrictions are accommodated during the booking process and there are options to add on more helpings of good times with breakfast and dinner reservations also.

Expect lunches to feature hearty salads, a bowl of farm market-fresh soup, a succulent piece of fish, and vegetable-forward dishes. Expect dinners that will make you want to linger past sunset over slow-grilled meat and chef specialties that honor a variety of tasty cuisines.
