Seared Bay Scallops and Asparagus as part of a delicious Spring menu created by Chef Karen (left)

There are so many glorious details that come together to create the Willow Pond experience. Great light in the studio, fresh hot coffee before class, basking in warm sunshine on the patio, and the scenic views of Edna Valley. However, the dining experience is unmatched and our goal is that every meal is a visual and sensory delight to equal creativity in the studio. Eating dinner together at golden hour after a productive day in the studio over wonderful food and conversation is a key part of the restorative, creative, and restful environment at Willow Pond.

Located on the Central Coast means we have it all, fresh seafood, ranches and farms, and of course all the colorful produce you could ever need, all grown here year round. Meals at Willow Pond are downright delicious and the food has been rather exquisite lately thanks to the fabulous Chef Karen! As a true creative and talented Chef, she fits right in and we are so happy we get to enjoy her cooking at the workshops ALL YEAR!

After years of refining her craft in high-end catering and large-scale festival kitchens, Karen launched Healing Harvest in 2022 to bring vibrant, globally inspired menus to the Central Coast. You can tell that nothing brings her more joy than crafting custom menus, making great food, and connecting with her clients. Everything she serves is phenomenal and her remarkable passion for fresh, locally sourced ingredients always shows. Karen and her team go above and beyond to craft the most inspired and nourishing meals. She’s flexible and turns any breakfast, lunch, or dinner into something so special.
